I am a 20-year publishing veteran and education professional. I believe in creating an educational system in which each and every student has the opportunity thrive as a learner and fulfill their potential. Every day I focus on giving educators the tools and support they need to realize that vision. I have deep experience in acquiring and developing high-quality educational and professional-development content, which has helped me to build skills I can apply to publishing in a wide variety of formats. These include print and digital books; videos; online professional learning and development products; and face-to-face consulting services. My subject areas of expertise are in K-12 mathematics and science education, higher education, and youth leadership and personal development. One of my primary talents is envisioning how to make print content more user-friendly and interactive in its structure and design, with the goal of having higher impact in the field. I then determine how to leverage that content across a variety of media in a way that is highly engaging, instructionally effective, and profitable. I also pride myself in knowing my market inside and out and cultivating close, trusting, and fruitful relationships with my authors, partners, and community of practitioners.As a leader, I have grown multiple multi-million dollar business lines by triple-digit percentages and have led teams of driven, engaged, committed colleagues and authors. Together we have created and disseminated content in service of educators whose mission is to help all young people receive not just instruction, but the tools and support they need to learn how to learn and to succeed.I enjoy being in the publishing industry in the thick of so much transformation in our business. A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, I am bilingual with bachelor's degrees in French and English. Mother of two amazing children and wife to a dedicated mathematics educator, I also love to travel, kayak, and am an obsessive gourmand.
