In this position, I planned and taught two-four lessons in three 90-minute blocks daily, as well as planed for and taught one 30-minute ISTEP remediation class daily. Trio Talent Search Summer Academy Langugae Arts Teacher
During this summer position, I was responsible for creating a curriculum for reading and writing ISTEP remediation for incoming 8th grade students. I also created pre- and post-tests to determine student growth in reading and writing skills at the end of the three-week program. I worked closely with my partner math teacher and TRiO counselors to ensure student success and growth.
