Founded "Lux" as one of the web's first digital lifestyle media and social community platforms, with a focus around fashion, arts, and lifestyle. Extended into a creative agency, an e-commerce platform, and advisory for brands and youth intel agencies. Lost interest due to access and insight into the industrial games of consumer behavior, media, and global relations.

Produced lifestyle/culture, influence, and consumer goods articles, interviews, coverage, and programming for both indie and major consumer publications, newspapers, and agency/wire services. Specialized in trend/culture forecasting, consumer behavior, society/celebrity/influence, and youth intel. Checked out of mainstream lifestyle media after realizing we were ultimately conditioning an insecure, dependent consumer. This, and being told “we can’t print that, we’ll lose our advertisers” about a piece on natural beauty alternatives and the chemicals in mainstream brands. Well that, and when a regional newspaper printed a press release I wrote, word for word, only as a news article credited to one of their writers. Got quite jaded with it all.
