Marketing Graphic Designer
When I was hired as a marketing graphic designer, my main role was to create world-class designs for marketing teams. I quickly became a member of the social media team in addition to the design team, taking on marketing specific projects in addition to design projects. This team integration created a deeper understanding of needs and limitations, which in turn, helped me create designs that met or exceeded achievement metrics.Design Team:• Adhere to brand standards while providing innovative solutions for web pages, paid ads, organic posts, emails, brochures, posters, flyers, postcards, business cards, t-shirts, patches, tents, and more• Collaborate with marketing teams including social media, affiliate, email, events, b2b, media buys, ppc, and organic web• Project manage magazine ads; strategizing ads per issue, setting deadlines, assigning designers and proofing before print• Assist in expanding upon brand guidelines with the goal of reducing inconsistencies and limitations • Photograph and/or direct photoshoots that adhere to platform requirements and marketing objectives• Work with photo team to bridge the gap between magazine and marketing needs of compositions, subject matter, and mood for each marketing platformSocial Media Team:• Diving into analytics in Facebook Ads Manager, Iconosquare, Crazy Egg, and Instapage to identify weak-points and implement solutions that meet or exceed goal metrics• Research and develop tests for paid social sales pages and squeeze pages•Responsible for organic Instagram strategy, planning and execution to increase brand awareness and ultimately sales• Grew Instagram account from 22,000 followers to 89,000 in 2 years, while achieving growth rates of impressions 302%, reach 400%, likes 271%, comments 415%, saves 333%, website clicks 150% and email clicks 146%• Partner in strategy and execution for organic Facebook and Twitter• Assist with video content creation strategy for organic posts, ads, and landing pages
