Senior Policy And Program Director
Current- Develop and implement comprehensive policies and programs for watershed management and conservation.- Lead strategic planning initiatives and collaborate with federal, state, regional, and local agencies to promote watershed health.- Oversee the planning, development, and execution of program strategies to align with organizational goals.- Manage the program's budget, ensuring proper allocation of funds and monitoring expenses for financial compliance.- Coordinate watershed meetings with various groups and agencies to facilitate information sharing and program support.- Apply change, risk, and resource management principles to enhance program effectiveness.- Engage in community outreach, education, and volunteer events to raise awareness and promote stewardship of the watershed.- Provide technical assistance for site analysis, planning, and design of conservation practices.- Administer water quality grants and other associated funds, ensuring quality control and effective communication with partners.- Prepare work plans, reports, and support grant development to secure funding for watershed projects.- Plan and conduct research including data and statistical analysis to understand impacts of pollution on water quality.
