I am a very outgoing and vivacious person. I love meeting new people and making new friends. I am adventures and not afraid to put myself out there. Challenges and new experiences are highly appealing to me. I believe adventures are out there waiting for us to experience them.One way I have sought adventure is by moving to South Korea to teach English as a foreign language. While living in abroad, I was able to experience and learn about other cultures and travel to new countries. I have worked in various customer services positions including an internship with the Disney College Program at the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida. Through this internship I have gained experience working for a large media corporation and have developed my skills of working with a team. I work in the day to day operations of one of the highest attended attractions in Magic Kingdom. As a resident Assistant at UW-W, I met so many people through this experience and personally grew from learning about others' pasts, goals and growth. As for my extra-curricular activities, I was involved in a number different student organizations on campus. I was a member of the Honors Student Association, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and have served as the Public Relations Chair. I am also a member of the Public Relations Student Society of America. Finally, I was member of Habitat for Humanity. I served as the Special Events Co-Coordinator and oversaw all involvement in social and special festivities. In addition, I have served for two years on the Homecoming Steering Committee. Through this position I was a part of planning, organizing, and running homecoming events for all of campus.
