In this role, I help to communicate knowledge surrounding the local southern California marine life ecosystem. I also assist the education department to push and execute aquarium programs such as major holiday events, school field trips, and volunteer appreciation.

🔹Description🔹Each show has its own set of objectives and goals. However, the typical objectives for a producer are to find and execute a compelling story from initial concept to full fruition with filming. Producers generally find ideas and concepts for episodes and pitch ideas to management. Once approved, producers locate and secure experts to push creative initiatives and story forward. Producers also find and manage filming locations, scheduling, and various other logistical components. While filming at location, producers can switch to a director role and manage the team and talent while on set. Our small team leveraged relationships with various organizations throughout Colorado to make sure Metromix was involved in any and all social engagements. Our main objective was to drive traffic to our website through local television advertising, social media and our partnership with 9NEWS.

As the local Fox News affiliate in southwest Florida, I produced a two-hour morning news program that included writing, formatting and timing the entire news program. I also leveraged relationships throughout the community to follow breaking news situations. In addition, I booked and managed daily guest segments that allowed community leaders to be featured on our morning show.
