In my role as Secretary I coordinated the functions of the Board; oversaw our fundraising, membership engagement, and public profile.

The Power Savers Program was funded through the 'Clean Energy Future' 'Low-Income Energy Efficiency Programs' where United Voice worked with the Nature Conservation Council, the Institute of Sustainable Futures at UTS and Solahart to undertake a pilot study on assisting low-income households with energy efficiency. The key responsibilities of my role as the Power Savers coordinator were: - Project management and planning- Day-to-day management of a call centre - Management and development of the database system through 'Salesforce'- Development of a leadership program for participants - Developing ongoing communications- Coordination with the lead partner, Nature Conservation Council.

This role includes monitoring environmental groups and issues, developing environmental policy, and preparing responses to environmental issues.

I spent six months researching environmental policy and opinion on the future of environmental action for the NSW Shadow Environment Minister, the Hon. Luke Foley MLC. I continue to be involved on an advisory committee. My role included: - Research and Analysis of other State and National environmental policies, various expert reports and advice on necessary environmental actions. - Seeking environmental expert advice for policy development. - Developing policy proposals - Studying constituent materials.

During my time as a Summer Cadet, and then a Project Officer at DBCDE I worked on the Digital Enterprise and Digital Hubs Programs following the NBN (National Broadband Network) roll-out. The Digital Enterprise program focused on funding training to educate small-to-medium enterprises/ not-for-profit organisations on how to utilize the NBN to improve their business; and Digital Hubs focused around similar aims for the broader community. In this role I was tasked with a range of jobs which increased in complexity as my time went on. From managing applications and answering FAQs, to being involved in the assessment process and project management.
