My name is Erin Lin, and I am the founder of WPointer, a website dedicated to providing WordPress tutorials for beginners since 2018. Our platform serves as a comprehensive resource, akin to the Chinese version of WPBeginner, focusing on assisting individuals creating their first WordPress site with ease.One of our most popular offerings is a free online course titled "5-day self-learning sprint course," which encompasses three series: how to start a blog, how to initiate a company site, and how to establish an ecommerce or product catalog site. This course, accessible to the public without the need for registration, has garnered significant traction. Throughout the course, participants are encouraged to join our private Facebook group to facilitate collaborative learning. Presently, our group boasts approximately 30,000 members.Ultimately, my final goal remains to be the leading WordPress tutorial website in the Chinese-speaking world, serving as the primary gateway for WordPress learning in the Chinese community. I will continue to strive towards this objective with unwavering dedication.

Worked with the faculty in e-learning department and created interactive applications with Flash and Action Script that are used in Savannah College of Art and Design’s e-learning program.Project I: Interactive Timeline Application-Historical Preservation Administrators are able to generate different timelines easily to fit different courses. The timeline can be uploaded easily without any knowledge of Macromedia Flash and scripting.Project II: Interactive Glossary Application- Glossary of “Database and Dynamic Website Programming”I created analogies and illustrations for all the terms to make them more interesting and understandable. This application is well programmed so that the administrator can upload the glossary by modifying the external XML document and loading external .swf files.
