As the Project Manager, Strategy and Transformation I play a key role in helping to advance the FCM transformation agenda through cross-departmental coordination and alignment of projects in all areas of FCM. The role is a critical connection point between various parts of the organization to project manage and drive important work in the areas of; employee engagement, employee communications, transformative projects management and issues management. I also provide direct managerial support to the Chief Operations Officer (COO) on all areas. As the Operations Officer I provide operational and project management support to the Policy and Public Affairs (PPA) department at the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM). This work ranges from planning and coordinating documentation for major meetings such as the three annual Board of Directors meetings, the Big City Mayors Caucus meetings, etc. to institutionalizing formal debriefing following major events, to coordinating the collaboration between various departments at FCM with PPA.

The BCMC Advisor assists FCM’s political outreach and advocacy mobilization efforts and drives political action through BCMC member and stakeholder engagement.
