As People and Culture Business Partner, I am responsible for implementing strategic and operational delivery of people strategies and practices that directly contribute to the continuous improvement of the organisations culture, employee and volunteer engagement, performance, retention, organisational effectiveness and IR/ER management. Examples of this include driving significant change management programs to support departmental and organisational restructures; coaching people leaders to higher performance and comprehensively supporting them across a diverse range of people and culture matters including workforce planning, reward and recognition, performance management, grievance/conflict resolution, and policy advice; involvement in the negotiation of a new enterprise agreement; and mentoring colleagues both within and beyond my immediate team.At all times, my key priorities are the health and welfare of our people and organisational risk mitigation.

In my role as Senior HR Adviser I am accountable for enabling continuous delivery of consistent and accurate application of HR policy and processes to a multiplicity of stakeholders. Aligned with the STEP portfolio - encompassing the Faculties of Science, Information Technology, Engineering, and Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences. How I add value:• Provision of advice and coaching to drive the HR strategic agenda and organisational goals• Provision of project management and business analysis support to HR Business Partnering and key clients, providing recommendations that inform business decisions with the assistance of Business Intelligence reports.• Provision of advice and coaching for training and development, grievance resolution and ER / IR cases.• Assistance in workforce planning and organisational design projects• Assistance in preparing position descriptions, business cases, briefings and other written advice on a range of HR issues to enable HR Business Partners and clients to realise key outcomes• Developing quality working practices and processes that are underpinned by metrics, analysis and research, redefining and aligning as required with business change

As an HR Business Partner, my role is to drive exceptional people-related outcomes and meet organisational strategic goals. I provide outstanding stakeholder management, strategy advice and implementation, leadership coaching, ER/IR expertise (including extensive investigation experience), compliance, and policy interpretation. I also lead the recruitment function across the business. I design, implement, coordinate, and execute HR and recruitment strategies, and ensure outcomes are aligned with business requirements.
