As Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Estonian Cleantech Association, I provide strategic oversight and leadership to advance the growth of Estonia's cleantech ecosystem. My role involves collaborating with board members to define the association's vision, setting long-term goals, and ensuring alignment with national and international sustainability objectives. I actively advocate for policies and initiatives that foster innovation, support startups, and attract investments in cleantech sectors.

After 7 seven years as CEO at Cleantech Estonia, I've taken the role of a Supervisory board member at the descendant, the Estonian Cleantech Association.

Sunly Future Ventures is one of the first cleantech-dedicated VC funds in Estonia, investing in pre-seed/seed startups across the cleantech spectrum investing primarily in the Baltics, but also in the wider EU.As a founding partner, I am committed to supporting to re-industrialise the economies in a holistic manner and bringing together important stakeholders with the startups in order to boost the market readiness of innovative solutions and their funding strategies.

Cleantech for Europe was formed in 2021 to bridge the gap between the cleantech community and European policymakers. The first coalition gathering 20+ European cleantech VC firms has successfully advocated for EU policy advances in better financing and creating demand for cleantech. It is powered by the Bill Gates foundation - Breakthrough Energy Foundation.As the founding partner of Sunly Future Ventures, I am a member of the Investors Coalition. As well I was a member with the Beamline Accelerator since the Cleantech for Europe was founded.

As Strategic Advisor for Cleantech for Baltics, I guide the strategic direction of this pan-Baltic coalition, fostering collaboration among startups, scale-ups, and investors to promote the cleantech sector at the regional and EU levels. My role includes advising on policy advocacy efforts, engaging with key stakeholders, and strengthening partnerships with international organizations such as the Breakthrough Energy Foundation. By leveraging my experience in ecosystem building and cleantech innovation, I support initiatives that enhance the visibility of Baltic cleantech and drive impactful collaboration between policymakers and industry leaders.

Cleantech for Baltics is the community coalition of start-ups, scale-ups and investors across the Baltic states that act as the unified voice of the cleantech sector, inform and engage with policymakers and raise the profile of the topic in the regional public debate. The coalition will also promote regional collaboration and raise the profile of Baltic cleantech at the EU level. It is an initiative by Cleantech Estonia, Greentech Cluster Latvia and Sunrise Valley Science and Tech Park.My primary responsibilities included the formation and negotiation of the Cleantech for Baltics structure, setting up the pan-Baltic team, managing the organisation's daily activities and representing the initiative among Estonian policymakers and international audiences. Cleantech for Baltics is the way of scaling the policy advocacy activities from Cleantech Estonia to the Baltics. By attracting the attention of one of the greatest cleantech-dedicated foundations - Breakthrough Energy Foundation by Bill Gates - its support has raised the importance and widened the audience on future-looking technologies and their advocates in the region.

Beamline was established to meet the market's needs of a sudden growth in the number of specific cleantech startups. Beamline's team has the amplest hands-on experience and vision-driven specialisation in cleantech.My primary responsibilities involved setting up the company, fundraising, investor relations, and making sector-relevant connections to Founders across the Globe.

The Estonian Energy Co-op is a renewable cooperative that develops renewable energy projects in Estonia and supports the transition to renewable energy. I am the founding member of the Estonian Energy Co-op, which promotes renewable energy and helps ideas turn into projects and projects into community renewable energy production units.

The more significant the impact, the more interested we are.My primary responsibilities included filtering through the deal flow and meeting with the ambitious Founders to understand their actual needs.

Cleantech Estonia is the cleantech sector development powerhouse, with the team having built the local ecosystem to empower research and innovation towards impactful and systematic sustainability. The core activities range from managing the organisational activities, policy development and raising awareness of the impact of new technologies to delivering high-quality accelerator programs, gathering all Founders of cleantech startups in the Cleantech Founders Club, and aiding innovators to scale.As the CEO I developed the national cleantech sector from zero to a strong and tight community in 2023. Bringing attention to the local startups through numerous foreign visits and restless networking among cleantech-dedicated venture capital funds, the investments in the sector in Estonia grew from €16M in 2017 to €270M in 2023; the number of startups grew from a handful to more than 120. Advocating Estonian strength in innovation at home and abroad has attracted significant interest from the largest VC funds in the sector and has put Estonia in the front row in the Baltics as the powerhouse of cleantech and has also justified, for the local government, to invest significantly into the sector under the national fund manager's €100M Green Fund.

EIT Climate-KIC activities management in Estonia and creation of a network of stakeholders to support cleantech startups' development and advance the cleantech sector.My primary responsibilities included bringing to Estonia innovation funding for very early-stage startups as grants and building awareness of cleantech-related entrepreneurship among the general public.

Greentech Club was initiated to bring together like-minded students from all over Tallinn Technical University. The Club provided a network for finding new innovative solutions and projects in cleantech/Greentech. Tallinn Technical University holds high expertise in engineering and business administration, thus creating a great network of people to bring about changes towards sustainable development.

Daily management of club's activities, increasing co-operation with like-minded associations from Estonia and abroad.

My primary responsibilities were to run various projects to raise awareness of renewable energy and sustainable development and, for example, compiling the Estonian Renewable Energy yearbook and communication with the network members. Organising the activities of the association's social networks, developing training programs for solar panel instalments, such as well as organising and carrying out events to find business ideas in the solar energy sector (hackathons).

Compiling research for the most relevant funding institutions in environmental topics and developing a methodology with recommendations based on international practices.
