Work/Responsibilities • Lead system engineer for C-Flex products. I also prepare solutions and quotation estimation for sales. • Product Owner for SCRUM development teams. Team responsibilities cover sensors, data links and weapon integration. • Project manager and system engineer on data link (Link 16 and Link 11) integration in C-Flex. I am responsible for verification and acceptance of link software delivery from Ultra Electronics, UK. • Requirement manager and system engineer for Terma's new generation of command/control systems called C-Flex. In close contact with customer and end user groups, I am responsible for specifying the desired functionality, and participate in the development of the system. Programming in Java.Results/Yield • C-Flex is a COTS based command/control system platform with a long-lasting system architecture that can be scaled from patrol vessels to frigates. C-Flex is currently used on more than 30 ships worldwide. • With the data link integration, the Danish navy can participate as a command platform in international operations with a full overview of the tactical situation.

Tasks/Responsibilities • System engineer for the development of Link 11 for Danish naval vessels. Link 11 is a NATO standard protocol for exchanging real-time tactical data on HF and UHF radios. I am responsible for verifying and accepting basic link software delivery from Whittaker Electronic Systems, USA, as well as further development according to the Navy's needs. • Software engineer at SF300, a ship-borne command, control and communication system for Danish naval vessels. SF300 has been developed in collaboration with PEAB in Sweden. My main responsibilities are data links and communication. I'm in charge of the first installation on board Flyvefisken.Results/Yield • The Link 11 system is still used operationally after more than 23 years without updates.

Seconded from 1984 to 1986 to Thomson CSF, France. • Development of FOD-CCIS in a distributed French/Danish development environment. FOD-CCIS is an integrated command and control system for the Navy's land-based control centres. • Development and maintenance of MILLAG, a system for handling and monitoring military supplies.Results/Benefits • Experience with software development in international environments. • Customer contact and installation experience with end-user feedback. • Language knowledge.
