Basecamp Student is one of the EU most-recognised, vertically-integrated Purposed Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) Investment Advisor, Developer and Operator. The total Equity Under Management topped €500 million, sustaining two portfolios with a collective Gross Development Value of ca. €2 billion.In my role as Investor Relations Manager at Basecamp, I direct transparent investor communication, emphasising financial and business analysis. I support the C-suite with strategic planning efforts, engaging stakeholders and managing risk in alignment with regulatory compliance. Responsibilities extend to ESG considerations, overseeing reporting and analysis. Orchestrating investor meetings, managing stakeholder engagement, crafting supporting materials, and collaborating on both internal and market insights form key components of my daily tasks.

During my time as Strategy and Operations Manager I worked closely with the Chief of Staff to shape Basecamp's distinctive operational platform and revenue streams, in close cooperation with the Finance department. Overseeing various aspects of the property teams across Northern and CEE, I gathered crucial data, generating operational reports for efficiency and process improvement. Leading the Customer Feedback and Insights program, I brought valuable insights to design meetings for future property developments. Furthermore, I worked closely with the Group's Head of Internal Audit to develop Basecamp's first Policy and Procedure framework. I was also responsible for crafting the Strategic Partnership Framework, which successfully initiated Basecamp's first OTA (Online Travel Agent) agreements.

In my capacity as Operations Assistant, I collaborated closely with the Operations Managing Director to establish efficient processes spanning the diverse properties within the portfolio. This involved strategizing booking and revenue channels, compiling data to optimise occupancy rates, and enhancing operational efficiency, with a specific focus on decreasing costs via facility management agreements. Additionally, I played a pivotal role in developing the first marketing framework, leveraging the website as a distinctive selling platform.

In my role as an Operations Specialist, I played a pivotal role in opening a new property in Poland, featuring over 300 student apartments. From managing project details to coordinating with local teams, my responsibilities spanned the logistics of procurement and furnishings, as well as supporting the creation of the first local operations team. This experience introduced me to the complexities of cross-cultural communication and the nuances of regulatory compliance in a new international setting.
