Created in 2003, the Laboratory of Digital Video Applications (LAVID) is integrated into the Department of Informatics (DI) of the Federal University of Paraíba (UFPB). The laboratory emerged from the proposal to develop research projects in hardware and software focused on the areas of Digital Video, Computer Networks, Digital and Interactive TV and Middleware. LAVID is currently a national and international reference in technology development for Digital TV.At Lavid, I have been responsible for the interfaces of project applications since 2013. Projects that also include people with disabilities as a target audience, so I had the challenge of create thinking about people who are not able to use all the senses to interact with the applications.Responsibilities:• Survey of requirements and discoveries of user needs, through research along with the team ofsubject matter experts, developers and potential users;• Definition of navigation, user workflows and layouts focusing on usability;• Development of wireframes, interface mockups and prototypes of applications, systems and pages;• Obtaining and describing usability tests, incorporating user feedback on the functioning of the finalproduct;• Production of graphical user interfaces for PC, tablet and mobile devices;• Development of the application interface for deaf people, such as VLIBRAS and WIKILIBRAS, twoopen-source applications;• Participation in sprints/scrum.
