I am currently a sophomore at the University of Iowa majoring in Marketing following the professional sales and management track. Through my background as a sales associate, operations manager, and PCT I have a significant amount of experience working with people directly. I have been able to develop skills in understanding issues and providing solutions, along with learning how to gain trust and build strong relationships. My exposure using communication skills has enabled me to gain confidence both professionally working with people, and personally at the University of Iowa. Becoming a first-generation college student motivates me to fulfill the opportunities my parents lacked. I have a strong desire to accomplish many achievements and reach my goals in life. I want to use these opportunities to make my parents proud and show the success a person is able to have with strong determination. I hope to one day give back to parents for their hard work and to the community so we can all grow together.
