About Evelyn Morris
I began my working life as a reporter on a daily and weekly newspaper, responsible for photographic, editorial and advertorial contributions.I also worked as layout artist and graphic designer at a major newspaper house whilst studying Journalism.In my first job as a journalist I developed an interest in and built up skills in photography while newsgathering. Years later I put that to good use when I began my own photography business, HTFotography in 2007 with a partner.In 2013 after my partnership ended, I concentrated on Eve Morris Image, as my primary brand for my work including freelance writing and photography.From 2014 to 2021 I returned to full time employment in journalism, initially in features, then in hyper-local print and digital news .I spent some time freelancing and temping in a variety of industries in 2022.In May 2023 I joined Somak Luxury Travel as a content copywriter working with the product and marketing team.
