I am a fresh graduate with a degree in Japanese. Before I entered college, I went to a vocational school for accounting. There are many experiences that I can take from these two majors. I studied Japanese but interned in the Finance dept. of a hotel for 6 months. During my internship in the finance dept. of the hotel, I learned many things. For example: Managing resources between multiple audits and submitting weekly reports to inform group auditors of audit progress, knowing that there are several programs to manage systematic financial reports (MACROS and SUN system), completing invoicing tasks by following company processes, supporting the finance team with accounts payable and receivable tasks, increasing financial knowledge, completing general administrative tasks, updating spreadsheets by regularly entering data with attention to detail, and managing reconcilliations and correcting entries to provide accurate reports. I want to combine these things with my Japanese major, so I would like to work in the finance department of Japanese company.
