After serving four and a half years in the United States Navy as a Master-at-arms Anti-Terrorism Specialist achieving the rank of Petty Officer Second Class, I decided to apply my work ethic to attending Columbia Basin College. While attending Columbia Basin College, I joined the CyberHawks where I have participated in multiple cyber competitions including the National Cyber League. Additionally, I have spent time learning on TryHackMe, earning the pre-security certification. As an intern at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, I have conducted research on different cyber threats to national critical infrastructure. Additionally, I have participated with a team on creating valuable training materials for cybersecurity within the Hydropower critical infrastructure, bridging the gap between engineer and cybersecurity professionals. Lastly, I have done various testing on IoT devices using different technologies such as Wireshark, nmap, metasploit, and other Kali Linux tools. I value Integrity, Motivation, and Dedication. I enjoy spending time with my wife and focusing on my physical fitness. I have graduated with High Honors with a BAS in Cyber Security from Columbia Basin College. Currently, I am working on obtaining my Security+ Certification with Network+ to follow, as well as learning and improving my own skills on TryHackMe.Currently, I am looking for work within the Cybersecurity industry, preferably a Cybersecurity Engineer position, however I am open to all positions.
