Delegated as Assistant Maintenance Manager when Tracked Assistant Maintenance Manager is away from program.Responsible for time sheets of AN, NATO and FN for accuracy and completion and approval. Responsible for troubleshooting and repairs of the M1 Abrams Main Battle Tank Platforms, Bradley Fighting System Platforms and other track vehicles. Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, removal, disassembly, repairs and reassembly of a variety of equipment and components on the M1Abrams Main Battle Tank Family of Vehicles (FOV), and the Bradley Fighting Vehicle FOV to include laser range finders, fire control systems, sighting systems, elevation control systems, turret drive systems, ballistics control systems, electronic interface systems, and power control panels. Responsible for utilizing complex tools, test instruments and a variety of equipment to test item’s reliability, suitability, operational capability and serviceability. Responsible for assuring conformance with technical publications, specifications, requirements and varied procedural guidance are followed. Responsible for making sure Bore sighting and/or synchronization of weapons, optical instruments and electronic guidance control system are followed in accordance with proper technical instructions. Responsible for ensuring that proper set up and operation of complex computer controlled automatic test equipment (ATE) to test and troubleshoot various components and assemblies of electronic equipment such as the Direct Support Electrical Test Systems (DSETS), modules which contain integrated circuits, and printed circuit boards and assemblies.
