Transmission Planning• Implemented a process improvement project by modifying an existing database with a 60% process time reduction. The new process was able to eliminate duplication errors and to reduce the time of maintaining two different data sources.• Prepared the annual federal filing and submitted the report to the Office of the Secretary of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.SCADA Engineer• Project managed an information technology installation of data collection system. The information technology system included two Microsoft servers and two interface servers in a full HA (high availability) environment.• Project managed an information technology installation of the IT Monitor system to collect data from Osisoft servers, SCADA Microsoft servers, and several other servers. The IT Monitor system retrieved and stored the server statistics.• Implemented a solution to access the State Estimator software. Configured the Citrix client software to allow authenticated access from an end user’s desktop computer. This state estimator access solution did not cost CPS Energy any money to implement.Underground Engineering• Project managed a $10.8M electric facility conversion project converting four miles of existing overhead infrastructure. Coordinated and interfaced with multiple internal and external customers. Supervised the work assignments for three full-time and two part-time underground electric utility planners during the planning and construction phase.• Supervised, trained and developed the skills for the underground electric utility planners by creating a PowerPoint presentation detailing the planning requirements. Provided training and procedures for the planning of system improvement projects.

• Achieved Six Sigma Greenbelt certification while employed with Sony Electronics with over four years of Six Sigma experience. Developed the following statistical analysis skills: DMAIC, DOE, trend analysis, cause & effect diagrams, pareto diagrams, regression, cluster analysis and outlier identification.• Used Six Sigma DMAIC technique to analysis a test manufacturing device failure. Researched rejected material by using root cause analysis. Created a design of experiment (DOE) to correlate the failures. Analyzed the data using Excel and JMP to determine the specific process step causing the failures. Eliminated the test parametric failure item with a financial cost savings of $0.655 million annually.
