Mr. Conklin is the owner and CEO of The Institute for Continuing Professional Education that focuses on vocational education and training for those in management and operations.Mr. Conklin is also a key seminar Instructor of Corporate and Professional Education Programs specializing in Entrepreneurship and International Finance. His “real world” experiences, that he weaves throughout the course material in a captivating manner, makes the educational experience practical, informative and interesting. Mr. Conklin has spent over 30 years in the Middle East employed with various companies and institutions as the chief financial officer and/or administrator. These include being the Vice President and CFO at Boeing Middle East; Saudi Arabia; Corporate Controller at American Medical International, Saudi Arabia; Corporate Controller at Modern Arab Contractor, Saudi Arabia; Deputy Comptroller at the American University of Beirut; Chief Financial Officer at the American University of Sharjah; Project Manager at Prince Mohammad University, Saudi Arabia and most recently as Executive Director of Finance and Administration at the American University of Kuwait. Prior to his overseas experience Mr. Conklin operated his own successful CPA firm in San Diego, California USA where he also served as Chairman of the educational section of the San Diego Society of CPAs. He is a CPA certified in both California and Ohio. He received a BS in Business Administration from Kent State University, an MBA Life Experience award from Almeda University and an MBA recognition at the American University of Beirut. He and his wife now reside in Palm Springs, California.
