• Maintenance on assigned equipment, vehicles, security devices and power generators following maintenance procedures in the Technical Manuals for the equipment, vehicles or security devices.• Analyze BIT/BITE diagnostics to isolate faults in the Line Replaceable Units• Setting-up, Operating and Maintaining Satellites and Communications i.e. WIN-T, STT, Grips, Server Stacks, CPN and JNN• Knowledge with various corporate level security software (I.E. Kaspersky, Symantec/Norton, McAfee) as well as some data protection suites such as McAfee Endpoint Encryption.• Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to install, operate, and maintain multichannel mobile subscriber equipment (MSE) and perform MSE shelter operation, link initialization, antenna installation, and warrior task and battle drills.• Audiovisual materials, practical exercises, discussion, classroom exercises, laboratory, lecture, and computer-based training. Topics include satellite transportable terminal equipment.• AN/TSC-167B (V) operation; line-of-sight high capacity equipment configuration; SHF radio setup and operation in areas with explosive devices.• Power initialization procedures and equipment maintenance procedures; troubleshooting mobile subscriber equipment• Installation and disassembly of antennas and masts; installation, operation, and maintenance procedure for terminal satellite units; and field training exercises involving battlefield weapons and defense exercise.
