Learned to build computers in 1996 and have been hooked on building my own systems every since. When I have a system that is broken I focus on solving what is wrong with the computer and fixing it as quickly as possible. That has led me to be the family IT guy, I get calls or e-mails to help with setting up routers, fixing computers, setting up profiles, making changes to settings, installing peripherals. I maintain my own Synology 8 bay network attached storage running RAID 1, have it configured for 4 network drives for storing pictures, music, and digital movies from iTunes. Other interest include running network drops, I've installed wired networks into 2 homes, owners were wanting to host LAN parties and didn't want the lag that could happen with wireless networks.I used my passion for working on computers in additional duties that I was assigned to while in the Air Force, imaging system, setting up e-mail accounts, troubleshooting network issues, and maintaining inventory lists of all systems within the organization.
