CurrentAs the Program and Data Manager at Jaslika, I have been involved multiple research and development projects across Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania, focusing on marginalized groups, gender equality, and policy influence. My work integrates M&E systems, data management, and capacity-building, using data-driven insights to enhance program effectiveness, ensure ethical compliance, and foster strong stakeholder relationships.Key Responsibilities & Achievements:Project Management: Coordinated research projects across education, women in business, people living with disability, Safe space for women, Gender based violence, women and youth in elections, Girls education, gender equality, and social justice, overseeing large-scale initiatives funded by various regional donorsMonitoring & Evaluation (M&E): Developed and implemented comprehensive M&E plans for donor-funded projects, managing both qualitative and quantitative data for precise program evaluation and impact measurement.Data-Driven Decision-Making: Designed and executed data collection tools (e.g., surveys, interview guides), leveraging platforms like MAXQDA, SPSS, and Kobo Collect to support informed decision-making and program adjustments.Stakeholder Engagement: Strengthened partnerships and inclusivity by collaborating with donors, NGOs, and local communities, leading to increased stakeholder engagement and measurable policy influence.Research & Evaluation: Conducted gender-focused research and policy evaluations, delivering actionable insights that shaped strategic decisions and improved program outcomes.Capacity Building & Training: Led training initiatives for over 100 trainees and field staff, enhancing performance, data integrity, and compliance with project standards.Ethical Compliance: Ensured research integrity by monitoring all processes, adhering to ethical standards, and promoting participatory evaluations to include the voices of marginalized groups.
