- Assessing viability of new SME Businesses seeking for funding.- Identify, develop and maintain deal referral networks and measure effectiveness of such networks.- Identify prospect needs and effectively sell GroFin value offering to fulfill these needs.- Screen applications efficiently, applying the GroFin viability model.- Structure viable transactions in line with GroFin Investment and pricing policy. - Preparation of high quality focused and concise Screening and Finance Reports. - Assist clients in developing and implementing a robust Business, Financial and Risk plans - Provide Business Support and track performance of portfolio companies - Implementation of financial management systems that produce monthly management accounts. - Facilitate business linkages and provide access to markets and business opportunities for clients. - Keep abreast of all Government legislations and regulatory requirements affecting portfolio clients.- Maintain a professional relationship with clients, based on trust and respect and informing clients about the GroFin process and what is required.- Script writing and editing of Client success story after financing and reviewing of company’s performance for publication to media and GroFin website. 

- Attending Annual General Meetings and Investor Meetings for listed companies.- Preparation of Quarterly Investment Reports and presentation to Boards of Trustees. - Liaison with the Lusaka Stock Exchange, Brokerage companies and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) - Supervision and direction of the back-office team.- Treasury function of negotiating for competitive rate on the money market and placing of deposits and other money market instruments.- Monitoring of Economic and Financial Markets trend both on the local an international market. - Monitoring of offshore investments for all the pension funds that have offshore investment and maintaining a close working relationship with offshore fund managers such as Blackrock, Sanlam, Ashmore EMM and Botswana Insurance Fund Managers (Bifm). - Maintaining a secure and sound collateral management systems. - Tendering for Government Bonds and Treasury Bills and monitoring of interest payments dues - Responsible for buying and selling of local and offshore equities through respective stockbrokers  Monitoring of all corporate actions and ensuring that all dividends declared by various listed and quoted companies are received by all schemes under management. - Payments of premiums for Endowment policies held offshore and ensuring that all matured policies are collected. - Relationship management with Fund Administers, Commercial Banks, Offshore Managers and Bank of Zambia- Attending external auditors, dealing with queries raised on a timely basis.   

- Regular Bank Reconciliation - Invoicing of new students and eturning students and.- Attending to external and internal auditors.- Responsible for timely deposits of cheques and cash received from students - Supervision of the Petty cash officer. - Maintaining and oversight of debtors and ensuring that they are within acceptable limits 
