Promoted to Director of Operations in August 2013 where I focused on implementing 5S, increasing & improving the safety environment, managing efficient manufacturing operations and restructuring the business. Worked in China to assist in the successful design and launch of a local manufacturing facility while simultaneously participating in the offshoring effort of the required engineering and manufacturing capabilities. Took position with Redi-Carpet (8 years) as Corporate Controller, overseeing both Accounting and Accounts Payable teams providing financial reporting, budgeting and other support for 26 branches across the United States. Participated in due diligence for acquisitions of 3 businesses (a total of 4 new branches), accounting for various new greenfield branch openings and multiple ERP system conversions. Assumed responsibility for Credit and Accounts Receivable departments in July 2023. Successfully incorporated offshore accounting services into the company (in partnership and support of existing staff) over the next 7 months. while also driving the month-end process from 20 days down to 2 days. Promoted to Vice President of Finance & Corporate Controller January 2024 managing accounting for 38 branches.
