As the former Mission Support Group Senior Enlisted Leader, I provided strategic leadership and effective management for a diverse team of 1,400 personnel spread across six subsidiary organizations. My responsibilities encompassed regional Acquisitions, Human Resource Management, Communications and Information Technologies, Logistics and Resources, Civil Engineering, and Security and Law Enforcement.In that role I strategically led and ensured rigorous compliance practices, managing Risk Management Framework, controls, change, and issue management processes and policies. I oversaw the direction of personnel and fiscal resource activities, wielded an annual budget of $102 million, and managed $312 million in physical assets. This encompassed program management for critical areas such as installation security, weapon systems security, resource security, antiterrorism initiatives, law enforcement and investigations, military working dog functions, air base defense strategies, armament and equipment inventory, training programs, pass and registration procedures, information security protocols, and combat arms operations.In addition to personnel management, my responsibilities included directing fiscal activities, administering an annual budget of $250,000, and meticulously maintaining organizational facilities and equipment valued at over $5 million. My role extended to providing strategic counsel to regional upper management regarding force protection resources and activities. This support was instrumental in safeguarding $9 billion in Department of Defense assets and overseeing the welfare of a workforce comprising 17,000 personnel. I had the honor of representing our management team at higher headquarters' strategic summits.Furthermore, I excelled in program management by organizing, training, and equipping my team to deliver worldwide force protection support. This included a pivotal role in program management during the drawdown of operations in Afghanistan, where meticulous planning and execution were essential to the success of the mission.
