During my data collection and several visits in Nepal I was touch by the reality that many tea workers and even small scale farmers are struggling to make their living. Being a tea drinker myself I decided to established Tealure to change the situation and address complex socio-economic and environment issues by combining my education and passions of public health, global development, entrepreneurship, traveling and specialty tea.Tealure is a social enterprise specializing in premium tea varietals sourced directly from small tea factories in Nepal. Our concept is build around responsible business perspective. We want to capitalize our customers desire to maximize social goods alongside private utility. To make a basis for that we pursues what it calls a “triple bottom line” approach of building wealth for all involved in tea growing and manufacture, promoting environmental health and operating profitability. Our goal is to allocate part of our profits to Tealure Farmers' Cooperative to develop income generating activities for underprivileged people in Nepal.With more than 6 years experience in direct sourcing I'm offering my unique understanding of the global tea industry from a sourcing, sales and consumer perspective.
