Ernest Audu Email and Phone Number
With nearly two decades of experience in the African creative and tech industry, I have dedicated my career to pioneering innovative solutions and fostering talent within the entertainment space. My journey began with building the largest street team and street hop movement in West Africa. The team soon grew to become industry go-to, offering industry support services in alternative music/ content distribution, and event promotions for esteemed organizations like “Storm Records”, “Westside Media”, “Livespot” and event properties like “Felaboration”, “love-like-a-movie” etc.As a passionate advocate for spoken word, I founded "Unslept Dreams," a poetry parlor that became a cornerstone of the spoken word movement in Nigeria. My entry into the media world was marked by the launch of Nigeria's first-ever basketball, hip hop, and street fashion magazine, “Konscious Media”, and also the co-creation of the TV reality show “Going Places” on Sound city and co-producing the teenage radio show “Let it Out Show” on cool fm.Recognizing the need for talent development, I established “Peaceville Academy”, one of Nigeria's first talent development agencies. Here, I had the privilege of developing and managing talents and performing A&R and support services for top record labels and platforms like “La Face Music”, “Storm Records”, “Blowtime”, “Universal”, “Mavin Records”, “Apple music” etc, and contributing to the success of TV shows like “Next Movie Star” and “Glo Naija Sings” etc. In addition to my creative endeavors, I have a robust background in tech, as a Database Consultant and co-founder of “Summit Tech”, I have created and continue to develop frame-works that offer entertainment tech solutions across various aspects of the industry. My expertise spans media management, marketing and experiential activations for brands such as “American Honey”, “Sony Ericsson”, “Globacom”, “B.A.T”, “MTN” etc. Through my career journey, I have had the opportunity to wear many hats like A&R, artist and business manager, Label Head, Project manager, Head of distribution and publishing , digital marketing professional, and event manager, Database Engineer, cloud engineer etc.I am driven by a commitment to innovation and excellence, continuously seeking new ways to elevate the African entertainment industry. Let's connect and explore how we can collaborate to create groundbreaking experiences and opportunities in the creative and tech sectors.
