I have been directly involved in all areas of management and operations for the last 20+ years for the Chicago Park District. I am versed in planning, scheduling, work order systems, Capital projects, budgeting, cost control, estimating, purchasing, etc. I have managed up to 900 employees and up to a $40million+ annual budget- with a complete management office support staff backing me up including human resources, marketing, finance, and facilities. I have been responsible for Chicago’s Lakefront Parks – Grant Park (Buckingham Fountain), Millennium Park, Lincoln Park, Jackson Park, etc, - and its 31 beaches. I have been the point person on all Lakefront Special events (Taste of Chicago, Air/Water Show, 3rd of July, etc.) as well as the $300 Million Lakefront Revetment Project which also came under my jurisdiction to maintain.
