Core Product • App Foundation • Performance• iOS mobile application performance engineer with primary goal to improve user experience and engagement by optimizing performance to deliver high application quality, usability and reliability• Optimizing performance by improving code quality and client side architectural design such as threading, adopting new tech like http2 with connection reuse for image downloading, caching, etc• Regression detection, tooling and troubleshooting with tracing using Zipkin, instrumentation using xcode instrument, data analytics on performance metrics measured from end to end using SparkQL.• Regression prevention by implementing unit and integration tests as well as running them in different stages of the development cycle• Automate weekly mobile release metric health check by using scheduled run tasks with Jupyter report in Python.
