Ernest is a psychologist who is passionate about enabling children with developmental and learning needs thrive. He works with other child development professionals and educators in trans-disciplinary teams to advocate inclusion for children in their schools and communities. He also advocates for soldiers with mental health issues in the military workplace. He is trained as an educational psychologist to conduct assessments, intervention, and counselling for children facing challenges in developmental, learning, behavioural, social, and emotional areas. He has previously worked in social service agencies, schools, and private practice settings, and has also taught in a polytechnic.Ernest graduated with a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) from National University of Singapore and a Master of Arts (Applied Psychology) from Nanyang Technological University. He is a registered psychologist and approved supervisor with the Singapore Register of Psychologist and holds memberships with the Singapore Psychological Society and the American Psychological Association.
