I manage a team of Designers responsible for the shape of 70% of the paper machine. "Dry end", two words ... Dryers, Size Presses, Reels, Clupack units, mechanical drives, foundation plates... A countless number of unique projects. The Customers, and visit more than twenty countries, from quotation negotiations, through project reviews, to machine commissioning and startups.It started in 2001 as an engineer in the section designing presses for paper machines in a company with over 150 years of tradition – Paper Machine Producer (PMP). A three-year period of collecting "energy" experiences – a specialist in the energy production department of a combined heat and power plant, resulted in a return to PMP, to the section responsible for designing the Drying parts of the paper machines. From a senior engineer, through an independent designer, to a senior designer and Section Leader. The first project in the company's history metering size press, steel drying cylinders, development and optimization projects, and my team implementing the first company’s steel cylinders Yankee for Tissue machines, are just some of the implementations behind us. There are activities that do not have to be boring and require constant development and creativity. We have it and we like it. Work, among others my Team has made a medium-sized company with branches in Poland (3 locations), China, the USA and Italy attractive in the eyes of the global tycoon in the paper machinery industry, the Finnish corporation Valmet, of which we have been a part since October 2020. The motto of the organization – FORWARD.
