- Responsible for the management of all medical equipment.- Implement and maintain the CMMS(SAP) for all medical equipment.- Manage and maintain medical equipment installed base for CAPEX, rentals, demo and loan equipment on the CMMS.- Perform repairs, modifications and installations on equipment according to procedures that comply with the standards and recommendations of the manufacturers and/or governing agencies.- Purchase and motivate for the purchasing of medical equipment.- Interact and train all staff regarding medical equipment to familiarize users with medical equipment.- Report on medical equipment to the CEM or TSM.- Interact with CETAs on technical and financial issues related to medical equipment.

- Carrying out of inventory checks of medical equipment in different hospital departments/units.- Medical equipment regular troubleshooting, day-to-day calibrations and testing as well as minor repairs.- Condemning of 'end of support' medical equipment.- Keeping track of the stock/accessories that is available and/or need to be ordered.- Provide feedback to Clinical Engineering Manager about daily operations.- Replacing of faulty medical equipment's accessories.- Assisting in performing and planning scheduled preventive maintenance on medical equipment and the accompanying accessories according to manufacturer's standards and conducts.- Training of the nursing on the basic operation and handling of new medical equipment.- Daily morning theatres and ICUs rounds.

- Basic fault finding and problem solving of medical equipment.- Monitoring and executing the movement of equipment to and from department.- Training nursing staff on new medical equipment.- Replacing and testing equipment accessories.- Replacing blood gas machine cartridges and cleaning filters.- Filing of service certificates, job cards, condemning certificates and user manuals.- Testing endoscopy stacks i.e. camera lenses, light sources, sdc, etc.- Testing of life support equipment before cases in theatre and ICU.

- Asset management (keeping record all the of medical equipment).- Condemning of severely/badly damaged equipment. - Provide training to staff on new equipment.- Assembling and testing of new equipment before distribution.- Troubleshooting of medical equipment.- Repairing broken equipment.- Maintenance of medical equipment throughout the hospital.- Maintenance of theater equipment(anaesthetic machine, defibrillator, cardiac monitors, ventilators, washers, etc)
