Perform ongoing development and support for the IBM OPTIM Data Privacy Masking Tool using AGILE/SCRUM best practices:• Developed, tested, and deployed effective procedures using IBM OPTIM Data Privacy Masking tool to mask PII data elements.• Databases and file types encountered were z/OS sequential, AWS, CSV, TSV, VSAM, DB2 (z/OS, UDB), IMS, ORACLE, and Sybase.• Created EXTRACT, LOAD and/or INSERT requests using the IBM OPTIM tool. Also created SQL related statements for extracting sub-sets of data from Oracle tables as an option of the EXTRACT requests.• Developed COBOL/JCL based ETL/ELT programs accessing z/OS sequential, VSAM, DB2 and IMS data stores.• Ongoing masking support. Support includes providing ETA for masking projects, the use of the masking tool IBM OPTIM, executing bash commands and shell scripts, working with ORACLE and/or NEETZA databases as required.• This required the use and development of TDF – test data fabrication. Using the IBM OPTIM tool, create data that was used in the QA testing environment for process validation and acceptance testing. Also, there were requirements where the data was required to be masked (TDO).• UAT testing was then performed on the changed/modified data to ensure data consistency and process flow. This UAT testing was conducted within a closed test environment where the database was populated with this masked data. UAT test cases were written to ensure that expected outcomes of the modified data were consistent with business processes and stated policies.• Performed analysis into the introduction of IICS and Snowflake into the masking and testing environments.
