Establish production schedules for manufacturing that align with committed build plan. Monitor daily inventories; track progress of production and review factors that affect schedules. Make necessary modifications to schedule to ensure achievement of on-time shipment goals. Participate as a key Team Member to consistently achieve improvements to on-time shipment performance. Use ERP system to review sales orders, MRP schedules, dispatch reports, and capacity requirements. Ensure all new products or product changes are set up correctly in the materials modules of the ERP system, including all process parameters and flag settings. Communicate and work with Production, Marketing, Global Supply Chain, Purchasing and Finance to meet business goals. Work with international distribution centers establishing inventory replenishment targets. Continuously improve Master Schedule programs to incorporate best practices and adjust accordingly to the changing marketplace. Adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) as well as domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures. Understands relevant security, privacy and compliance principles and adheres to the regulations, standards, and procedures that are applicable to the Company. Ensure other members of the department follow the QMS, regulations, standards, and procedures.

Supervises production, pilot lines and coordinates the scheduling of people, materials, and equipment. Performs all personnel related functions related to production assembly staff including hiring, training, and performance evaluations. Interacts with production, quality control, and process engineering departments to coordinate and resolve production related issues. Use software such as PowerBI, Tableau, SAP, and Microsoft Office to prepare production reports and to review log history reports. Adhere to the Company’s Quality Management System (QMS) as well as domestic and global quality system regulations, standards, and procedures. Ensure other members of the department follow the QMS, regulations, standards and procedures

1. Assist in the training of laser technicians, operators and other designated manufacturing staff. Provide daily supervision of staff.2. Review all process documentation for completeness before submitting to Quality Control.3. Participate in the creation and improvement of manufacturing processes for new products, product changes and enhancements, and related tooling and fixturing.4. Adhere to production schedules which are consistent with goals and objectives. Coordinate support from other department personnel as necessary.5. Identify manufacturing issues and participate in the development and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes consistent with high quality and low product cost. Assist with defining, qualifying, and implementing Engineering Change Orders.6. Support various qualification, validation, and reliability studies in cooperation with manufacturing engineering.7. Assist in the development of ISO compliant systems in coordination with Engineering and Management. Ensure the attainment of product performance and quality requirements.8. Works from WORK INSTRUCTIONS (WI), QUALITY INSPECTION PROCEDURES (QIP), Travelers and production/assembly instructions.9. Perform in-process quality checks on components.10. Utilize small hand tools, calibrated instruments, measurement equipment, microscopes, and laser machining centers.11. Interact with support groups to maintain production schedules.12. Work with engineers, technicians and operators to resolve line issues and suggest improvements.13. Maintain accurate records/documentation, including Output charts and job status board.14. Adhere to general safety rules, manufacturing procedures, company policies and procedures and other ISO regulations.15. Maintain knowledge of current methods and techniques used in manufacturing.

I prepare artillery pieces and equipment for movement, combat, and firing. I inspect and prepare ammunition for firing, and perform the various jobs incident to firing such as, laying for elevation and deflection, loading the piece, and handling ammunition. Field artillery cannoneers perform preventive maintenance and clean artillery pieces and equipment. I make routine tests and authorize repairs to equipment.
