• As a Linked Learning Liaison at AltaMed's Workforce Development Department, provided students from Bravo Medical Magnet High School with work-based learning opportunities focused on Health Pathways through various field trips, such as a Cedars Sinai Medical Simulation Tour, a Grifols Pharmaceutical Company Workplace Tour, and a Career Conference in Men in Nursing.• In addition, coordinated and executed successful speaking engagements with various health professionals, such as a family medicine provider and a director of health education as guest speakers for high school students.• Here is a short video clip of our Bravo students’ field trip to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center: Cedars-Sinai Share Video.

• Linked Learning provides high school students with real world work-based learning opportunities through guest speakers, college tours, job place tours, career conferences, volunteer service and internships, in order for them to learn what the work industry is like in a professional setting.

• Obtained a communications and general translation services position to distribute information & communication technology to stimulate entrepreneurship, education and citizenship.• Organized and translated social media management, marketing material, project proposals, and CDI’s official website from Portuguese to English and Spanish.

• Advocated for prison policy reform and provided cultural and spiritual education, support, and hope to incarcerated individuals.• Organized and communicated correspondences to various prison institutions and inmates across California and other states. • Participated in a Pow Wow Native American ceremony with the inmates of Soledad Correctional Training Facility to offer community support.
