The Mayor’s Police and Community Coalition is a diverse advisory committee that addresses issues affecting police/community relations and helps develop recommendations & best practices designed to enhance trust.

PURPOSE: To define the procedures for the appointment of members to the Citizens Bond Oversight Committee to report to the Superintendent and School Board relating to progress in the expenditure of capital improvement bonds. The Superintendent recognizes the importance of citizen involvement in the District’s Bond program to provide oversight of the expenditures identified in the Bond and to report to the Superintendent that the progress of bond expenditures is consistent with the plan presented and approved by the voters of the District.

Oversight of financial spending. Ensuring that financial allocations was distribute as need it to the right projects.

The District is looking at several different options for our sixth graders for the 2012-13 school year. As the District looks into various options, it is of the utmost importance that feedback from various parties is attributed to the final decision for our sixth grade students; therefore, a Task Force is being developed to assist in making these decisions.

Scholarships to Success is a Tulsa-based scholarship program to encourage entrepreneurship in high school seniors. Program sponsors include NFIB's Young Entrepreneur Foundation and the Lobeck Taylor Family Foundation.

The committee was formed by citizen of District Six; it was design to find a city's facility in which to Honor former Councilman Dennis Troyer. The Public Facilities Naming Committee, the Mayor and the City Council had a dedication ceremony honoring Councilor Dennis Troyer. The dedication took placed at:41st and 118th East Ave. Friday, August 3, 2012, 9:00 a.m. Thank you to all the members of this wonderful committee and community.
