About Ernesto Raya
It is notable that Baseball continues expanding internationally and the number of Hispanic players in the MLB is increasing every year, as well as the need for qualified coaches with the same cultural background, language, and the ability to guide them on and off the field. After I reflected on this reality, my objective is to seek a coach or a management position with a baseball organization. My passion for the game with the combined experience of teaching physical education and coaching youth with diverse ethnic backgrounds, could help any sport organization in the development of young talents. Furthermore, I am in a unique position to educate and guide these new immigrant players in their adjustment to the American baseball culture and the larger society.
