Ernesto currently serves as President for FTA International, LLC and oversees allconsulting and legal services offered by the company.FTA International is an international consulting firm and actively represents, among others, the USA Poultry & Egg Export Council, USA Rice Federation, and the Washington Apple Commission in different markets throughout Central America, South America, and the Caribbean.Previously, Ernesto worked for the USA Poultry & Egg Export Council from 2001-2011, serving as marketing manager for various markets including the Far East region, Latin America, and the Caribbean. During this time Ernesto managed marketing and promotional campaigns and dealt with market access issues in 27 countries worldwide.Raised on a beef and dairy farm near Tegucigalpa, Honduras, Ernesto attended Escuela Agricola Panamericana, El Zamorano, Honduras, and is a 1999 graduate of the University of Florida College of Agriculture. He holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in Agriculture Operations Management and Agribusiness.Ernesto received a Masters in Agribusiness (MAB) from Florida in 2000. While studying for his master’s degree at Florida, Ernesto worked as coordinator of the Center of Agribusiness, which is part of the university’s College of Agriculture.Ernesto is also a graduate of the Georgia State college of law and is licensed to practice law in the state of Georgia.
