After growing up overweight for most of my childhood and teenage years, I knew I had to make some major lifestyle changes. Over the years, I began to implement healthier habits in my routine and began to see a positive difference in several aspect of my life. I lost over 70 pounds over the years and have managed to keep them off for over a decade now. During my health journey, I stumbled upon the magnificent field of Dietetics, and immediately knew that it was what I was destined to do. I completed my Bachelors of Nutrition, Dietetics, and Wellness in 2022 and learned that there is so much more to this field than calorie counting and weight loss. As nutrition experts, we are required to know just about everything that you can relate back to food, and I made it a goal to achieve the required knowledge it takes to be the best Registered Dietitian.
