Sales is my life: I have a passion for understanding customers' needs, challenges and business dilemmas beyond their requirements and even challenging their points of view. The aim: to develop long term relationships, delight customers and always overachieve my quota.My career took me to managerial positions of growing seniority as a very young professional. I had to lead very small teams of one or two contributors and very large organizations of many hundreds. I was always clear that teams should be more, much more, than the sum of its individuals, to be successful. But also that individuals matter. So as a manager, I had always made a point of coaching every person working with me to be successful and to understand that his or her success lives in the team’s achievement. I’m proud of receiving the recognition and thankfulness of people that work with me in many different environments. I pride myself in having helped many of my team members become senior managers, entrepreneurs and successful in their careers. My mantra as a manager was always to create teams of people who are proud of their work.And when it comes to thinking, I also have a passion for leaving a mark, be it a great vision or a small playbook. So I pioneered new ways of working, from open spaces, to agile teams, to design thinking, much before these management ideas even had a name.
