Craig Ernewein is Wegmans Information Technology (IT) manager responsible for Internet and Marketing systems and has been with the company for 22 years.During his first decade with the company he was responsible for all retail automation in Wegmans stores. He was responsible for brining the next generation point-of-sale (4680) system to Wegmans, was part of a national team of retailers, suppliers, software and hardware vendors that developed the current day coupon scanning process, and was the technical architect behind the Wegmans Shoppers Club card. In his next decade of service to Wegmans he was responsible for the development of the Wintranet and wegmans.com, he was part of the team that developed Wegmans entry into e-commerce (Wegmans Holiday Gift's) and lead Wegmans Internet home shopping pilot at Wegmans Eastway store.
