I'm a Senior Engineer and Project Manager with broad Alaskan Commercial, Institutional and Industrial HVAC, Plumbing, Piping, Controls and Fire Protection skills. I've got the comprehensive expertise required to put together mechanical system solutions that meet clients' needs. I excel at identifying problems, defining solutions and producing designs with team-oriented projects but am equally capable when working on my own.Over the past twenty years I've worked in well over 120 remote Alaskan communities in all areas of the state. My village projects include dozens of water and wastewater plants, dozens of diesel generator plants and wind, solar, biomass and heat recovery systems to support them. I've helped with the design of nearly twenty new schools and major remodels. On our military bases I've laid out miles of steam and condensate distribution piping and worked on subdivision-wide hydronic distribution systems. I designed the HVAC and plumbing systems for a LEED-certified Air Force dormitory and the fire protection systems for F-22 hangers. The Anchorage Water and Wastewater Utility has relied on my booster pump and pressure reducing station designs for years, and I have designed HVAC systems for many of their industrial and commercial facilities.More important than the number or location of projects I’ve worked on are the relationships I’ve built in Alaska with clients; local, state and federal agencies; other engineers; and contractors. These relationships allow me to be successful with a large range of project types.
Listed skills include Hvac And Steam System Design, Building And Process Controls, Fire Protection, Flexible And Collaborative Team Building, and 3 others.
