Life cannot live without challenges.When I was a college student majoring as a civil engineering in Tamkang University, Taiwan, I was suffering a hard time of almost being kicked out the university because I failed half of courses when I was a sophomore. I only had one more chance to stay in the Tamkang University, and this chance made me decide to challenge myself. I set a goal, which was the average grade in each semester must be getting better and better until I am graduated from the end of sophomore year. In the end, I not only reached my goal, but I received the academic award, Da-Yu citation, before I was graduated. I'm very interested in the apparel industry. Therefore, I joined Uniqlo, Japanese fast fashion retailer, and be the part of team in Taiwan while the company was extending the territory in Asia in 2011. It was lucky for me because I had a lot experience of assisting different stores since Uniqlo planned to open more five stores after the flagship store was opened in September 2011 in Taiwan. I was in charge of managing stores'​ inventory in the back room. Cooperating with many colleagues was my enjoyable time when I was the part of the team in Uniqlo. Learning is an infinite journal. It's one of the reasons that I applied the graduate school, and major as industrial economic and MBA in National Central University and San Diego State University, respectively. Being an economist makes me understand to analyze the numerical data by economic models, and interpret the meaning of numbers. On the other side, major in MBA let me study plenty of business cases that I could absorb the ideas and experiences from different business situations. Surfing is my favorite sport because I love to challenge myself to overcome the unpredictable waves, and finish the incredible tricks. I'm also a quick and active leaner. I would love to explore and try everything new. After all, in my credo, life cannot live without challenge.
