(ATOC) Duty Officer (DO) is responsible for the overall management of the air terminal operations center functions and reports to the Air Terminal Manager.The DOs ensure the proactive management of the information and resources required for the aerial port to effectively receive, document, and handle passengers and cargo. This also includes working hand in hand with all branches of the U.S. military, government agencies and includes multi-national forces across the world. Responsible to provide information concerning a potential aircraft delay, an actual delay, an abort or any other information directly impacting mission success.Responsibilities include reporting all accidents, incidents, and mishaps IAW AFIs and Aerial Port LOIs when deployed to the AOR. These include aircraft accidents, aircraft damage, vehicle accidents, personnel injury and/or rocket attacks.The DOs manage port equipment assets to ensure that enough equipment is always serviceable to meet port requirements. In addition, provides oversight of all aerial port operations services work centers. DOs also ensures the prioritization of all aerial port operations.
