My responsibilities include…

Area Coordinator for the Puget Sound Federal Coordinating Center, National Disaster Medical System encompassing all of Western Washington State with 44 partner hospitals. Coordinated the recruiting and maintenance of civilian hospitals. Ensured compliance with all FCC and Department of Health and Human Services policies and guidance. Served as the primary liaison between the Commander of the Western Region Medical Command and FEMA Region X Director, DHHS, and emergency coordinators for Emergency Support function 8. Developed, planned, conducted and evaluated exercises

Chief of Readiness and Mobilization for the U. S. Army Reserve Medical Command, responsible for 28,000 Soldiers and 535 DA Civilians. Responsible for the programming, planning and execution of a $2.5 million dollar GWOT budget. Responsible for the execution of all Mobilization, ADT, COADOS and reassignment orders. Directly supervise a full time staff of 23 Officers and NCOs in two separate branches. Coordinate personnel policy and guidance as it applies to the readiness and support of the Global War on Terrorism. Maintain compliance with the Army personnel policy guidance and ensure all Operations and Fragmentary orders are in compliance with the Army regulatory guidance.
