As Vice President of IT, I have responsibility for overall leadership of the IT organization including people, systems, data, processes, financials, business continuity and security in support of the "IT Platform". Responsible for overall successful day to day operations of IT applications and infrastructure (the "IT Platform"). Serve as the organizational leader for information security and work collaboratively with business leaders to develop, implement and maintain enterprise security and risk policies/procedures. Along with senior management, manage risk related to information security, physical security, business continuity planning, crisis management, privacy and compliance. Responsible for procurement, maintenance and operations of all IT infrastructure and security at corporate and power plant locations.- Provide leadership to employees, contractors and partners who support operations and security of the platform- Management of internal IT Service Desk including people, tools, processes involved in the submittal and timely response of service requests submitted by the user base- Tier 1 and Tier 2 application support for all systems and applications- Recommend technology additions, upgrades and removal in order to support the short and long term business and IT strategies/goals- Explore requirements from internal IT team in order to recommend the most valuable solutions to support new projects- Serve as project manager for technical/infrastructure projects and responsible for managing resources and timelines to achieve project deliverables- Lead infrastructure assessment/due diligence and integration activities for all acquisitions- Evaluate overall IT capacity in order to ensure optimum system performance- Identify areas for improvement, develop improvement program and monitor the implementation to increase process efficiency and/or reduce costs.- Manage infrastructure related spend to ensure that departmental spend is at or below established budget.- Monitor regulatory compliance with enterprise security policies and educates business on compliance efforts.- Manage enterprise information technology risk- Create and maintain partner support network

Responsible for all core IT infrastructure systems for 17 power plants located throughout the US. This includes the corporate headquarters data center, 200+ physical and virtual servers, 780 end users, VMware enterprise, FC and iSCSI SAN, NAS, routers, switches, firewalls, intrusion protection, network access control, authenticaton systems, telephony and general IT security. Responsible for edge security, plant management data systems and Distributed Control System security. My team manages Microsoft Exchange 2007, SQL 2005/2008, security systems, telephony systems and Active Directory for entire organization. Reponsible for developing/managing/compliance of policies, standards and procedures for SOX, NERC, ISO, and Internal Audit Division of Goldman Sachs.
