The Integration aspects of my role include both production support, project and related integration design work.I work closely with the outsourced technical integration support staff to set priorities on a regular basis. I have an in-depth understand of overall data integration of the systems supporting both the TOMS direct-to-consumer and business-to-business channels and related 3rd party solutions. I leverage integration knowledge (ie. efficient mediated communications designs) to identify solution options for TOMS key business initiatives. I also ensure that the appropriate SDLC methodologies employed by TOMS are followed as changes are implemented across the system landscape. My role provides production support for existing internal applications and develop new applications when necessary. Basic support includes responding to and troubleshooting alerts for business-critical system processing issues which occur on occasion and notifying the end users accordingly. I work with defined application owners to prioritize the development needs for critical and non-critical changes or enhancements for the internal applications. On occasion, I will develop applications. This involves requirements definition, solution designs including integration points, testing, training, data migration and solution implementation.
